Terms of use

These terms govern your use of Connect, a service operated by Modernova Studio LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, with its registered office at 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801-6317, United States. By creating an account, you accept them.

1. The service

Connect analyzes your business’s presence on Google Maps and proposes actions to improve it. With your authorization, the service connects to your Google Business Profile account to read data and, for the actions you approve, to write.

2. Account and eligibility

• You must be of legal age and acting in a professional capacity.
• You must hold the necessary rights over the Google listing you connect.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for anything done from your account.

3. What we guarantee — and what we do not

The Connect score is our own indicator. It is not an official Google rating. Google does not publish its local ranking algorithm, so we guarantee no gain in ranking, no increase in traffic and no commercial outcome. Our recommendations rest on observed practice, not on demonstrated causation.

We depend on third-party interfaces — Google’s in particular — whose availability, scope and terms may change without notice. Some features may be degraded or withdrawn as a result.

4. Your obligations

You agree not to use Connect to:

• Post fake reviews, buy them, solicit them in exchange for anything of value, or pressure anyone to remove one.
• Filter customers by satisfaction before directing them to Google. This practice breaches Google’s policies and we do not support it.
• Publish unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing content.
• Circumvent our technical limits, scrape our data at scale, or resell the service without written agreement.
• Manage a listing you hold no rights over.

You remain bound by Google’s guidelines for representing your business. A breach may lead Google to suspend your listing, independently of Connect.

5. AI-generated content

Connect proposes review replies and posts drafted automatically. These are suggestions: nothing is published without your explicit approval. You remain the author of, and responsible for, everything published on your listing, and it is up to you to read it before approving.

6. Subscription, credits and billing

• The applicable prices are those displayed at the time you subscribe.
• Rank scans consume credits, whose balance is visible inside the service. Unused credits do not roll over and are not refunded.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel at any time; the service stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Prices are exclusive of tax; VAT is added according to your country.

7. Intellectual property

Connect, its code, its brand and its interfaces belong to Modernova Studio LLC. Your data and the content you publish remain yours. You grant us, for the duration of the contract only, the right to process them in order to provide the service.

If you explicitly opt in, we may include your metrics in aggregated, anonymized industry benchmarks in which no individual business is identifiable.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend an account in case of a breach of these terms, non-payment, or a security risk. Except in an emergency, we will tell you beforehand. When the contract ends, you have 30 days to export your data.

9. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amounts you paid us over the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for indirect losses, in particular lost revenue, lost customers or lost ranking. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the state and federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you are established, where those provisions cannot be derogated from by agreement.
